In early November, Advanced students took a midterm test for 120 minutes on organic farming that has been given for 100 days that cover materials such as definitions in organic farming, scientific names, farm entrepreneurship analysis, farm and fisheries, ecology of sands, plant diseases and pests. For the first time In this batch, TLF admitted two refugee students from Afghanistan in the advanced program who have lived in Indonesia for almost 5 years. Before joining TLF, they and most of other refugees often to spend their time at home. They have to face this situation because refugees are not allowed to work and participate in formal education. Therefore, by participating in Basic and Advanced programs that we offer, they are able to keep learning despite uncertainty in waiting for the resettlement process by UNHCR.
