1. recruitment

We recruit our youth through NGO partner referrals or word of mouth. These include street youth, refugees and victims of conflict.

2. assessment

We select our prospective students through two rounds of selections, written applications and phone interviews.

3. Basic course

Students embark on a 100-day basic course.

​

This includes vocational and entrepreneurial training activities, with an emphasis on obtaining a basic understanding of organic farming. 

4. Advanced FArming

Students that have graduated from the basic course can choose to continue their studies.

  • Integrated Farming Techniques

  • Internships

  • Business Development & Planning 

  • Thesis Writing/Presentation 

  • Scientific Research

5. job placement

Graduates find employment through job fairs, through our corporate partners while most return home to their villages to become better farmers.

organic farming

Our curriculum follows the national curriculum for organic farming, but goes beyond to teach life skills and values to our youth. The main organic farming units are: Ecosystems, Garbage Management, Composting, Creating Effective Micro-organisms, Growing Seedlings, Using Organic Pesticides, Farm and Plot Maintenance, Livestock Management, Harvesting, Marketing

LIFE SKILLS

Computer Usage, English Language, Entrepreneurship, Simple Economic Analysis, Meeting Facilitation Skills, Gender Equality, Communication Skills, Social Development, Paper Recycling, Handicrafts, and more.

OTHERS (BASED ON VOLUNTEER VISITS)

First Aid Training, Health Issues, AIDS, Drugs, Hip-hop Dance, Photography, Videography, Digital literacy, Self Discovery, Dress for Success, Money Minded, Business Model Canvas, 7 Goods Habits, etc.
